SPM.2212.XB

SPM.2212.XB

Simplex SPM 2212 is a state-of-the-art polyurethane/polyester surface, combining above all rapid drying time, excellent smoothness and long-lasting colour. Rich in advanced properties, it is characterised by impeccable covering power and simplicity of application.

Thanks to its synergy with Simplex acrylic pigments, the varnish provides excellent UV resistance, while its ideal flow and scratch resistance make it indispensable for a wide range of markets - above all where standards of perfection and performance reign supreme.

SPM 2212 works superbly with a wide variety of primers - from epoxy to acrylic to polyurethane. When combined with PM.1422.RE primer, it achieves a stunning C4-H (C5-M) corrosion protection with a system thickness of just 120-140 micrometres (DFT).

Simplex SPM 2212 will find use in projects where a combination of low gloss levels and unrivalled final coating quality is required. It is particularly suitable for working on commercial vehicle components, agricultural vehicles, steel structures, forklifts, as well as machinery and other technical equipment. It can also be used successfully as a topcoat in the furniture market (e.g. for fronts made of MDF) with a semi-matt finish.

For those looking for a high gloss, its equivalent in this version is SIMPUR lacquer PM.2219.XB. Mixing these products in different ratios will give you a wide range of gloss levels, and you can find the right mixing ratios and glosses in our proprietary colour system.
