We accelerate coating of the engine compartment

Coating a car not just limited to the body, but also includes what is under the mask.

While the body painting regularly appears in articles, a topic of the engine compartment is often passed over in silence. This process requires a different technique of varnishing from painter. The main challenge for painter during repair a car coating is mapping in the engine compartment while maintaining its protective properties.

In the case of the engine compartment we care about a rapid process of varnishing. In many cars, the original paint at this location is available without gloss, in contrast to the color of the body.

Among painters quite popular, though not entirely correct, is the method comprising adding a hardener to the basecoat. Obtained in this way surface is suitable for gloss-mate, but is not resistant to scratches and operating fluids.

Another method, the most well founded, consists in putting the base coat and then using a matte clearcoat. Because the paint in the engine compartment is not fully matte, it must be mixed with clear varnish, high gloss in order to achieve an appropriate degree of matting.

If the engine compartment is covered with lacquer without metallic or pearl effect, so-called. solid varnish, then there is also the possibility of mapping the surface using acrylic paint with the addition of matting paste. Each of the above-described methods is imperfect or time-consuming.

In this case, I would suggest a new solution with a range of products PROFIX - Gloss controller. The gloss controller is a product that is part of a new paint mixing Kar-Bon system and combines simplicity, speed of operation, high efficiency and low costs.

After adding this product to any base coat we obtain satin coat with scratch resistance and what is most importantly – there is no need to cover it with additional clearcoat.

The whole process significantly easier by the fact that in the new prescription Kar-Bon system, we can add this product to each recipe with a single click and then the recipe will be converted to the fact the use of this product.

Coating process and drying time is similar to the process of painting the base coat.

You should however remember that the final layer should be poured enough.

Painting the engine compartment does not have to cause problems. Just use a proven solution.
