But the function of the clearcoat is not limited to a great look for the car; it also plays an essential protective role. Its hardness and scratch-resistance allow us to enjoy the beauty of our car’s paint job for years and years.
For paint technicians, two important aspects of a paint are ease of application and drying time. The new Profix CP 2016 VHS 2K 4:1 clearcoat is an answer to the needs of both car users and paint specialists. It features a very high dry mass content which meets stringent EU requirements, and can be applied in the same way as MS lacquers. As with other HS products, it does not suffer from yellowing of the ready-to-spray mixture.
CP 2016 does not drip from vertical surfaces, and just one and a half coats is enough to guarantee full coverage. Its short drying time, and more importantly amazing depth and clarity of color, are what make it truly stand out from other products available on the market.
All that is needed to prepare the mixture is a hardener (CP 3016), which considerably facilitates and accelerates the painting process.
