WET-ON-WET primer 2K HS 4:1
CP 385 is a product designed for the most effective use of wet-on-wet methods combined with basecoats. Its biggest benefits include excellent paint flow properties, resulting in a perfectly smooth surface for basecoat or topcoat or direct gloss products application. Both of these advantages make work much easier and, most importantly, shorter. CP 385 primer can be applied to bare sheet metal or original OE primed parts as the product it features protective and sealing properties that effectively inhibit corrosion occurring. The product is available in 1-Litre tins.

Application
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Abrade substrate using a red P300-400 abrasive pad by hand or P320 sanding disc using orbital sander. Remove dust particles before cleaning substrate with CP 015. After the substrate is clean and dry apply CP 385 one layer only preferrable. If further layers are required, take note of the recommended evaporation time between coats and bake or airdry before de-nibbing and applying topcoat

4:1 100 parts of CP 385 25 parts of hardener CP 282/ CP 285/ CP 286 40-50% of thinner CP 040/ CP 070/ CP 055/ CP 075
SPRAY GUN SETTINGS
Wet-on-wet method: nozzle size 1.2-1.4 mm, HVLP/RP Operating pressure: 1.8-2.0 bar
APPLICATION
1 full coat. In case of incomplete coverage, another coat can be applied
EVAPORATION TIME AFTER APPLICATION
25-30 min after coating at 20°C and 65% relative humidity
