Gloss Converter
The Gloss Converter F-018 is a specially formulated additive designed to enhance the performance of GREEN-LINE basecoat. When applied, it significantly improves the resistance of the basecoat to operating fluids such as those found in the engine compartment, thereby ensuring superior durability and longevity. Additionally, F-018 is formulated to create a scratch-resistant satin finish that does not require the application of any clearcoat, resulting in a streamlined and efficient application process.

Application
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Once the suitable primer coat has been abraded, clean using silicone remover CP 015 in preparation to apply basecoat
MIXING RATIO
According to the formula
SPRAY GUN SETTINGS
Nozzle size: 1.2-1.4 mm; Operating pressure: HVLP/RP 1.8-2.0 bar
APPLICATION
2 full coats for solid colours 2 full coats plus 1 coat under reduced pressure for effect colours
EVAPORATION TIME AFTER APPLICATION
At 20°C and 65% relative humidity 10-15 min before application of clearcoat
DRYING
- dust dryness: 5 min - thoroughly: 25-30 min
