Light polyester putty Hot Rod
Hot Rod is a very lightweight surface finishing putty that fills well and has a wide range of applications. It is characterised by exceptional ease of application and processing, high adhesion the substrate and lack of stress on the putty. It performs well in multicoat paint repairs. Hot Rod can be used on bare steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and acrylic, epoxy primers and old paint finishes. The putty can also be used for cosmetic repairs on composite and fibreglass products.

Application
The product is applied to a previously sanded and cleaned substrate. Old coatings should be removed. The most effective method is application on an epoxy primer CP 394. Do not apply putty on top of reactive primer
100 parts of CP 342 Hardener: 2%
Application in several thin coats. The product should be cured after application of each one. Do not exceed 3 mm thickness
The product must be mixed before and after adding the hardener
Drying times at 20°C and 65% relative humidity: - 30-35 min
Wait approx. 5 min ~9-11 min before IR drying; do not exceed 80°C
